The Study Of The Phrase "V Dianr (O)" From Various Visual Angels

The structure of the "V dianr(o)" is more frequently used in the contemporary Chinese. However, the academic circle pays less attention to it at present, and it is only slightly involved in the study of the other grammar format.The systematic study has not yet been started, especially the study of its semantic and pragmatic aspects. Based on the theory background of three levels in grammar, and combined with the theory of the focal point and conversational implicature analysis, this paper discusses the structure from differerent aspects. The thesis can be divided into five chapters:Chapter1:exordium.The exordium mainly explains the research object of the article, summarizes the ownship of the "dianr", and outline briefly retrospects the research situation which points out the shortcomings of previous studies of the "V dianr(o)" so far. In addition, it is also explains this study in the meaning, theoretical methods, and source of the corpus and so on.Chapter2:the syntax functions of the "V dianr(o)". Firstly we study the function of the "dianr", then we investigate the evolution of it from the diachronic perspective, and summarizes the nature of the "dianr" in synchronic angle which points out that the "dianr" can be used with verbs, adjectives, nouns and pronouns, and it also has the special sentence completion function and expression function. Secondly, we analysis the whole structure of the "V dianr(o)" in syntactic function, and study it distribution of the syntactic and the six grammatical features respectively from the perspective of noun and verb quantifiers.Chapter3:the semantics of the "V dianr(o)". This chapter analyzes the "V dianr(o)"from the perspective of semantic relations. It is the first to classify the Verbs which can enter the structure.Then, we analyzes the semantic orientation and features of the "dianr",the semantic types of nouns. And it points out the select restriction in semantic components. Finally, This article analyzes the semantic features of the "V dianr(o)",such as littleness, fuzziness, regulation.Chapter4:the pragmatic part, it is the focus of this article, we mainly discusses the pragmatic context and pragmatic effects of the "V dianr(o)" from the perspective of the focus, conversational implicature, expression function, style,etc.And it points out that "V dianr(o)" usually appears in pragmatic imperative sentence which makes the expression is more tactful and gentle.Chapter5:the conclusion.It summarizes the full text, reiterates arguments, and points out the shortage.
