A Study Of The Problems In China’s Network Literature Criticism And The Solutions

Abstract:Network literature criticism not only shows new features in the creation, and disseminating carriers, but demonstrates popular style in language expression and ideological content, compared with traditional literature criticism. More importantly, it has a profound influence on our literature development and cultural construction. Network literature criticism and its literary and cultural interpretation exert significant influence on the sound development of network literature and the improvement of the ecological literature criticism and contemporary cultural construction.This thesis mainly consists of three parts. Part one is a general overview of the network literature criticism. The author demonstrates the definitions of network literature criticism from narrow sense and broad sense and gives a brief introduction of network literature criticism, its classification, features, development status and significance to the ecological and cultural construction. Part two sums up the shortcomings of the network literature criticism, and analyzes the causes of the problem. The author probes into the shortcomings of the "on-line" criticism in expression approaches, and the limitations in terms of ideological content. On this basis, combining China’s social and cultural context and critical practice, the author explores the causes of the problem from three aspects:social and cultural background, the subject of criticism and network techniques. Part three puts forward several constructive suggestions. It is the core part of the thesis. The author points out that the elevation of criticism consciousness, improvement of professional criticism accomplishment and high sense of social responsibility can enhance the network literature criticism. The thesis explores the criteria for criticism from the aspects of diversity, openness, literariness, and aesthetic nature and other aspects, setting rules for network literature criticism. The author also points out building "dialogue criticism" and calling for the participation of influential traditional criticism to adjust and improve the modes of criticism, will make the network literature criticism more effective. The thesis follows the logical thinking way of finding the problem-analyzing the problem-solving the problem to have a thorough and objective cognition, serving for the sound development and theory construction of the network literature criticism.
