Folk tales is a popular genre in every nation of the world oral literature. It is not only an important part of folk literature. And w ith the study of ancient history, politics, religion, literature, languages, arts, and customs of multiple academic value. Nowadays, many States and peoples over their multi-angled, deep research of folk tales. There is also a fruitful results. But for Tibetans; has an extremely rich and excellent resources of folk tales, they have never seen research results. In this paper, on the basis of previous studies, the use of modern folk literature theory, on the formation and development of Tibetan folk tales, type, raised his own humble opinion for social functions.This article beyond the preface and concluding remarks, there were four full-text chapters; first chapter, mainly based on Tibetan literature and civil, discusses "Zhong" meaning and classification, and its main features. Chapter â…¡, as in Tibetan history of little folk tales written in the process, is in text classification based on the discussion on formation and development of its context. Chapter â…¢-AT classification theory, an analysis of typical type of story in Tibetan folk story and discussion. The fourth chapter, from education, environment, history, culture, and so on four folk tales in the context of the function.
