The Early Christian history is during from it was born to it became the state religion ofRoman in the fourth Century A.D. The Early Christianity stood more pressure which camefrom the Orthodox Jewish and Rome Empire. The conflict between Christianity and theRome Empire lasted for nearly three hundred years. During these years the Christianitydidn’t disappear, but it continued to grow all the time no matter how hard the persecutionwas.The first chapter introduces from the Christianity was born to313A.D. the RomanEmpire carried out ten large-scale bloody persecution to the Christians. At the same time itintroduces several representative Roman rulers’ treatments and policy to the Christianity,from which we can know that the Christianity cannot be ignored for all dynasties. I think thatthe persecutions aren’t for one reason but for every part of society don’t agree the behaviorsand the thoughts of the Christian. Including the church activities have been misunderstoodby the masses, the different thoughts between pagan and Christian and the policy of thegovernment.The second chapter sets forth the response of the Christianity facing the bloodypersecution from the Roman Empire. Martyrdom is one of the important performances of theChristianity. Many faithful Christians died in order to safeguard their own beliefs. At thesame time, apologists wrote apology to explain for the church in order to let people knowmore about the church. Christian daily behavior is adjusted constantly; they tried hard tointegrate into the public community. Under persecution for a long time, to the Christian, thethought of tolerance and the spirit of love gradually increased which affected their behaviors.The third chapter is the key chapter of this paper. This chapter mainly discusses thedevelopment of Christianity during the persecution of Christianity in Rome Empire. The firstperformance is that there is a rise in the number of Christian especially after the plague. Tothe doctrine, Christianity gets gradually mature; there are some important doctrines in thisperiod, such as the New Testament and the Holy Trinity which enrich Christian theorysystem. To the organization, the most important thing for the development is the power ofthe bishop growing. To the ceremonies of the church, along with the historical evolution, theetiquette system has gradually become mature. And in the early Christian history, Christianworship, baptism and the communion service tend to commemorate the martyrs of thechurch.
