| In Roman Empire, there were lots of mystery religions which were different from the roman traditional religion. One mystery religion called Mithraism played an important role in Roman Empire. The origin of mithraic cult was considered from Aryan, and it was taken to Iran and India. In 1 OOAD, this cult mixed the Greek astrology and other Roman religion's element s, and then it turned into Mithraism. It was confirmed the biggest religion group in the Roman world. This paper try to (â… ) introduce the main aspects of Mithraism; (â…¡)explain why this religion lost the tussle against Christianity.
