The Basic Unit Ci（辞）and The Figurative Language

The Chinese characters(字). The Chinese characters is the basic unitof the Chinese vocabulary. But before the Chinese academic circle hasn’t been putdown the "word" old concept. Words can be compared with indo-european "word".Word is the concept of hypothesis that is a supposed concept of China in tracking thewestern linguistics.Since the opium war China has been trying to imitate some western material andspiritual culture, but some things to China does not fit, especially the concept ofwestern linguistic terms. So this paper pointed out that the Chinese for "word" this concept notappropriate, and advocate using "ci(辞)" concept to replace it, is the basic unit ofthe Chinese. ci(辞)is composed of the Chinese characters（字）. The Chinesecharacters(字)are the least of the meaningful language unit, it is to make the basicunit of the ci(辞). Sometimes a Chinese characters(字)can make a ci(辞),sometimes two or more Chinese characters(字)coordinate together constitute aci(辞)such as "起来". ci(辞)is Chinese basic grammar unit, is the constructionunit. A few ci(辞)or a ci(辞)used to express a relatively complete meaning, itwill constitute a Chinese phrase. Chinese phrase is Chinese basic expression of theunit. A Chinese phrase or some other combination collectively referred to as "speech".Image boundary ci(辞)is Chinese’s unique language unit. Image boundaryci(辞)is put by a Chinese characters(字)or a few Chinese characters（字）,from a few ci(辞)or ci(辞)constitute image unit, namely the language unit oflanguage block (word material). Thefunction Chinese characters(字)make the image of the unit connected to the Chinese phrase or speach, that very vividly express meaning. The Chinese phrase isthe basic communication unit, a Chinese phrase or more a communication unitcollectively referred to as "speech".In brief, this paper emphasizes the importance of the Chinese character, andmade the assumption that the concept of the ci(辞); ci(辞)is the synthetic conceptof the Chinese character and the Chinese character. By the way of the combination of ci(辞)realize speech. Secondly, this paper have explored that "Chinese expression of imageis the paratactic type that is difficult from the Korean and Aryan by change of form toexpress", this is just the fundamental problem.
