Study On Piet Stockmans’ Works Of Blue Ceramics

This study is about Piet Stockmans’s blue ceramic art works based on the translation of relatedbooks and the collection of Piet Stockmans’s images. The study discusses Piet Stockman’sbackground of works, inspirations,development, methods and aesthetics. The study made aconclusion that Piet Stockmans’s ceramic art has a principle, which is SIMPLE, which the choiceof shapes, colors and the way exhibited are all base on. Piet Stockmans values the harmonybetween shapes and colors, keep the nature feel of earth and tries to merge the area of design andart. The aim of this study is offering some help for the contemporary ceramic art and research.
