| The literature review part of this paper reviews the theoretical and experimental study of the writing process and discusses the researches about psychological stress response. Finally, we describe the purpose of this study. This research is designed on3experiments; respectively conduct the second and fifth grade students using square lattice paper and blank paper to complete characters copying, texts copying and creativity tests tasks. Meanwhile, the psychological reaction to copying tasks is detected by extracting physiological indicators. The results show that:1) Using square lattice paper writing characters degraded the second grade students’ cognition performance in the experimental group compared to the control groups’ performance in using blank paper.2) The square lattice paper was also associated with physiological responses to stress in the second grade students.3) There were no differences in cognition tests between square lattice paper and blank paper in fifth grade students’ cognition tasks, as well as there is no psychological stress responses.4) The comparisons between the former and later creativity tests’ scores show that, for the second graders, blank paper is related to significant improvement in student achievements, which is not found in the square lattice paper groups.5) To the fifth grade students, creativity scores of the square lattice paper group, as well as the blank group did not change significantly. |
