The research of the title obtains a comprehensive and in-depth development in recent years, however, not include the research of the subtitle. So, this paper attempts to study the subtitles by the method of qualitative and quantitative, selects from ten different areas of academic journals in2006to2010(except advertising and activities’ title) to establish the corpus, in order to keep the complete and balanced of the corpora. This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction about the objects of the paper. Mainly includes the purpose and significance of the researchã€the current situation and method of the research and the corpus source.The second part is the current situation and cohesion of the subtitles from the academic journals.The third part is the research of the type:A:B-subtitle. The A:B-subtitle is a special new usage, which is influenced by the English subtitles. The reason why it listed separated to discuss, mainly because it is different from the traditional subtitles, and there are some difference and non-normative itself. The fourth part is the type analysis of the academic journal subtitles.The fifth part is the analysis of the English translation of the academic journal subtitles. It mainly summarized the main type of the English translation of the subtitles, and the existing problems and principles in the English translation.The sixth part is the summarization.Mainly includes the conclusion and problems of the paper and the expectations of the project. |
