With the growing of China’s international influence, Chinese learning continuesto heat up in the international, more and more foreign students choose to go to Chinato learn Chinese and to experience Chinese culture. In order to learn the attitudes andopinions which the Chinese people treat Central Asian foreign students as, found thatthe problem exists in the Central Asian Students Education Management, researchbased on the theory of pedagogic, psychology, intercultural communication, Theauthor selected Traffic Bank, large supermarket that near by the school, and thenchoose seven universities in Xinjiang. The author made a large survey of students,teachers, floor managers, restaurant waiter, salesmen, cleaners and other staffcontacts who ever contacted with the Central Asian students. The total specimen ofthis survey are covering of gender, the time of contacts with the Central Asianstudents, age, level of education, professional distribution. Research from the dailylife, social life, language adaptation, social interaction, academic adjustment,psychological state,to learn the adaptation of foreign students in Central Asia.Explore the personal and social factors which affecting the cross-cultural adaptationof foreign students in Central Asia.There are four parts in this article. The first chapter is preface, introduced theorigin of the problem, research purpose and meaning, literature review, researchmethods. The second chapter research for Central Asian students in China’s socialimage, including sample selection, basic statistics, the reason and purpose of CentralAsia to China, in addition, the situation of foreign students with the Chinese people’ssocial intercourse, conflict and its resolution, Chinese society’s cognitive of foreignstudent behavior. Chapter three analyses the reasons of the Central Asian students inChinese social image, respectively from the difference of social background, culturalmisunderstandings. The fourth chapter analyzes the Central Asia Students formedtheir image in Chinese society and their cross-cultural adaptation, proposed somesuggestions to solve these problems.Study found, first, individual factors affect their social image in China. Respondent’s gender, age, came to China, sources of funding, ways ofexchanges factors have a significant effect on the status of Central Asian studentsstudying in Chinese society. Second, social cultural activities also impact theiradaptation. Third, there are widespread difficulties of interpersonal adaptationbetween Chinese and Central Asia foreign students. At last, according to thequestionnaire concluded, the author give suggestions for teaching, management,culture communicate and other areas, and raised a number of issues need to beexplored in the future.
