Analysis And Study Of Watchtower Application Value In Traditional Architecture

If we say Han-dynasty portrait is a stone-made "the book of Han dynasty", tomb watchtower is "living fossil" in the architecture of Han dynasty. Han-dynasty portrait of tomb watchtowers is the carrier of "the book of Han dynasty".Because the research context of traditional landscape is the main direction of research, and there’re a lot about the theme culture used in contemporary landscape deign, Watchtower is one of them, so the study of traditional architecture deficiency, is will be an integral part of research on Chinese culture, especially in the theme of Chinese culture modern landscape, the value has a special meaning. In addition, In addition, the general situation of the research about watchtower is a part of the research about Han dynasty. monographs on watchtower is limited,and the research is blank about all of Tomb watchtowers in Sichuan region,also have not monographs on watchtower in modern landscape deign.This paper selects Sichuan region as the main research region of tomb watchtower. This is because Sichuan region is the most concentrated region with the most tomb watchtowers. Through classification and summary of the contents of Han-dynasty portraits and analysis of all picture information collected about Han-dynasty portrait of tomb watchtower, this paper analyzes and studies existing typical tomb watchtowers in Sichuan region one by one. From the perspective of art, it refelcts artistic appreciation value as well as unique value of times in Han dynasty and in the contemporary era. Especially, in contemporary landscape deign, watchtower application and application of stone relief as traditional graphic pattern make watchtower not only display its unique application value in landscape space, but also reflects sustainable development of traditional culture in plane range.On this basis, put forward Watchtower of the Traditional Architecture in the application of modern landscape.Besides, watchtower application examples in modern landscape are listed. The conclusions are drawn. The value of times and application prospect of the watchtower are presented. The author hopes the study can provide significant reference and suggestions for construction of theme landscape architecture.
