As the diverse and heterogeneous cultural landscape of Chinese film history, MinorityMovies are not only the important link, which could show the internal cultural diversity of thecountry, but also the key to build national imagination. Since the inception of the new century,Chinese Minority Movies, which is facing the wave of globalization chase and the culturalerosion of Consumerism and repeatedly implanted with the invasion of Western hegemonicculture, is showing a vulnerable passive integration state. Under the modern civilizationpenetrating into minority cultures, the issue how to follow political identity, how to highlightgender identity,and how to restore racial identity and how to face the conflict betweennational culture and cultural globalization, has become the key problem that the creators needto think, solve and face. Based on this, this article chooses the new century Chinese MinorityMovies as a research modeled, combined with sociology, semiotics, mythology, and take themethod of data studies,close reading, and case analysis to restore the cultural conflict in theminority movies.The first part starting from the point of view of the historical changes in decades for theone-dimensional (1979-1989,1990-1999,2000present), combs the Minority Moviesdevelopment process of the reform and opening up three decades. with the development ofopening-up and reformation, Chinese Minority Movies in the eighties avoided the policticalthought to the cultural revolution deliberately, and pursued the entertainment dumping, fakeprosperity couldn’t fill the absence of the connotation and then enters the low points of the1990s. Since the beginning of the new century, Chinese Minority Movies experiences thebaptism of context and thought, more diverse cultural expressions, cultural anxiety andcultural conflict attendant.In the second part, the paper starting from the collision of diverse cultural identity(ethnic identity, political identity, female identity) analysis found the new century "DingSheng Changrong" Minority Movies expropriation in the performance of ethnic identity,recruit heroes symbols The identity of ethnic minority groups, self-build; follow politicalrheology based on shared historical memory and national experience; feminist consciousnessis also awakening, instead of the stereotypes under the development of the social context.From the aspect of dualism cultural conflict, the third and the last part of the issueponder the merge of culture at the atmosphere of Consumerism. All of this rely on Minority Movies creators, whodescribe the national spirit, national temperament, and national aspirations in their works.
