Studies Of The Qin Culture Sculpture Design On The Nort Shore Of Wei River Landscape Belt In Xianyang

With the fast development of economy in current society and the acceleratingpace of urban construction, urban cultural construction has become a critical issue. As asign of urban culture, the historical and cultural city sculpture embodies the spirit andoutlook of cities. Xianyang is an ancient capital in Qin Dynasty, and the research on Qincultural sculptures through investigations into ecology landscape along the north shoreof Wei River in Xianyang possesses the characteristics of typical historical and culturalcity sculptures, which is also an important part of urban sculpture design. This thesisconducted a meta-analysis of problems that confront the Qin cultural sculptures design.Problems of universal characters are classified from the perspective of theory andpractical design. On the basis of summarizing relative theories, the correspondingresearch is completed, which will shed light on the design of historical and cultural citysculptures, providing a reference of design concepts.According to the major elements requiring attention in the process of Qin culturalsculptures design, the following parts are further divided.Firstly, recent development of Chinese historical and cultural city themesculptures is described to identify the important status and value of Qin culturalsculptures.Secondly, the definition of design concepts of Chinese historical and cultural citytheme sculptures provides corresponding principles for Qin cultural sculptures design,to make the design more consistent with location characters of ecology landscape alongthe north shore of Wei River in Xianyang.Thirdly, theme sculptures requiring attention during the process of design and therelationship between the environment and receiver are defined on the basis of relative design concepts.Fourthly, according to the above theoretical analysis and the design of Qincultural sculptures located in the ecology landscape along the north shore of Wei Riverin Xianyang, a novel and unique design is proposed to promote harmony amongsculptures design, environment and receiver.
