Poyang County is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, which belongs to Gan dialect, because of the junction between Poyang and Pengze County in Jiujiang and Dongzhi in the east of Anhui.Poyang dialect vocabulary has its own unique meaning and morphology; there are values to research in some curtains.Besides preface and conclusion, the thesis is composed of four parts:Part one, briefly introduces human geography and the history of the town in Poyang and the dialect phonology features.Part two, description from the aspects of word formation of dialect vocabulary and motivation, and summarizes its basic characteristics.Part three, Starting from the word form and word meaning, comparing the dialect and Mandarin vocabulary in synchrony, in order to more clearly understand the unique characteristics ofPoyang town dialect vocabulary.Part four, in different age groups in different words as the starting point, the new perspective of the phenomenon of development and changes of dialect vocabulary appears, and then discuss the deep reasons of its development and development trend in the future.
