The Northern and Southern Dynasties in our history is a cultural integration period ofthe northern nomadic nationality and the Central Plains Han nationality. The reform ofHanization in the Northern Wei Dynasty climaxed the national integration. Northern Weirulers at that time believed in Buddhism and carved Yungang Grottoes in Pingcheng(Datong in Shanxi province today) which is one of the four Chinese caves, where a largenumber of chinese Kabuki dance images were carved. This paper mainly takes theengraved Chinese Kabuki dance images in Yungang Grottoes as the research object,combined with relevant documents and unearthed relics, to make a detailed description ofDatong Yungang Grottoes "Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance aesthetic paradigm in thebackground of multi-national integration.This thesis is divided into three parts, the maincontents are as follows.Part I: The first part will demonstrate the origin and evolution of "flying" ChineseKabuki dance in the caves. First, clear the concept of Buddhist "Flying" Chinese Kabukidance. Then, analysis the origin and image paradigm of Buddhist "Flying" ChineseKabuki dance. Finally, after tracing back its history to understand the evolution process of"Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance image paradigm as well as the composition developmentof "Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance image.Part II: The second part will mainly analyze and discuss the famation factors ofYungang Grottoes "Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance aesthetic paradigm from five aspects.Firstly, the regional environment. The geographical environment of Datong became thecultural integration platform in the Northern Wei Dynasty; Secondly, the ecologicalenvironment. The ecological environment of Datong in the Northern Wei Dynasty isfavorable for the development and integration of the national economy and culture;Thirdly, human environment. The human environment in the Northern Wei Dynasty is thepolitical guarantee to develop Buddhist culture; Fourthly, aesthetic thought. The differentaesthetic thoughts in different periods form the different aesthetic paradigm of "Flying"Chinese Kabuki dance; Fifthly, artistic factors. Related artistic factors have contributed tothe development of"Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance paradigm.Part III: Yungang Grottoes "Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance aesthetic paradigm andits value. This section analyses the aesthetic paradigm of Yungang Grottoes "Flying"feature characteristics first. Then, on the basis of the three building periods of Yungang Grottoes to study the aesthetic paradigm of the dance style of Yungang Grottoes "Flying"Chinese Kabuki dance. Finally, discuss the artistic value of Yungang Grottoes "Flying"Chinese Kabuki dance aesthetic paradigm.Through the study of the aesthetic paradigm of Yungang Grottoes "Flying" ChineseKabuki dance, this thesis clears the formation of the Buddhist concept:"Flying",analyses the formation of Yungang Grottoes "Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance culture, sothat it could better explain the aesthetic paradigm and its value of Yungang Grottoes"Flying" Chinese Kabuki dance.
