| After50years of construction and development,which since independence in1947to the end of Rao’s economic reform in1996, India has established an independent and complete industrial system. Successive governments made industrial policy,dominating the overall direction of Indian industrial modernization,which meaned building a lively industrial power. At the same time, them would combine policy with actual production situation, constantly correcting industrial policy.The paper attempted to begin with the background of making—policy after independence. By means of studying the procedure of evolution of industrial policy from1947to1996, to reach a conclusion which was the influence that policy made impact on economic development. The whole paper is divided in five parts.The first part reviews the academic research about policy of Indian Industry, resulting in the significance of the paper.The second part analyzes the background of industrial policy in India after independence.Summarizing the urgency about making self-governed and new industrial policy in India.The third part according to the evolution of industrial policy and situation of industry, summarizing the positive effect that policy impacted on Indian economic development.The fourth part focuses on the negative effect of industrial policy impacted on Indian national economy and the internal structure of industry.The fifth part is the conclusion. |
