The phrase of “V ge VP” is a very common structure, especially in spokenChinese, which consists of three basic components: V, ge, and VP.“Ge” is the constantterm of the phrase. During the grammaticalization of “ge”,“ge” is no longer just anindividual quantifier and appears other usage, thereby affect the whole structure.Introduction section describes the purpose and significance of the topic of thispaper, define the scope of the "V ge VP" phrase clearly. Study the status quo of the "Vge VP" research. Explain the source of the language materials and the theoreticalmethods used in this study.Chapter one explain the part of the phrase: V, ge, and VP. Describe thecharacteristics of the “V” and “VP” of the phrase, as well as the grammaticalizationprocess of the “ge”.Chapter two analyze the syntactic and semantic characteristics of the phrase.Describe the syntactic features of the phrase. According to the deep semantic relations,divided the phrase into verb-object and verb-complement, explained, explain thesemantic point of “VP”, point out independent semantic features of the phrase, describethe different situation of the not happened situation and had happened situation, andexplain the allegations and statements function of “VP”.Chapter three analyze the phrase from point of cognitive and pragmatic view. Usecognitive linguistics theory, analyze the boundarization and subjectivisation of thephrase. Analyze the pragmatic functions of phrase, which highlights eventscompleteness and highlights the focus of information.Chapter four compare “V ge VP” and the “V de VP” from the internal structure,tense, affirmation and negation, subjectivity and objectivity, expression level,expression functions, which can make us understanding the particularity of the phrase.Chapter five is the conclusion of the thesis.
