Herbert Marcuse is one of the important representatives of the Frankfurt School,Technological alienation and rational theory of Marcuse and Eros Liberation Theoryresearch reveals Alienation profound impact on all aspects of where we are now livingenvironment and production and living.In the continuous development of science andtechnology today, people blindly pursue to meet the needs of the material life, but theyignore technology on human alienation constantly enhanced.Technical rationality intoday’s advanced industrial society, is still the dominant force of a social transformationinto a force for liberation of the people of the shackles of the shackles of humanliberation, people are depressed, the power of science and technology graduallymanipulate the control, people lose the negative, critical, transcendence become a"One-Dimensional Man."Marcuse’s critical social theory of science and technology onhuman alienation as a starting point, seeking the liberation of Eros as a destination point,to promote human subjectivity and creative spirit, called attention to the value of reasonand return to the meaning and value of life.We recognize the trend of the developmentof the world, a correct view of the role of science and technology, strengthen thescientific concept of development in China in recent years, the idea of building aharmonious society, the Marcuse rational critical theory plays an important role.In theface of society and people’s own development, we should examine the scientific theoryas a guide to modern living situation, free development issues, respect for people,respect for human values, in order to achieve physical health and peace of mind. Weshould strive to reach the people, society and nature in harmony, the unity of thescientific spirit and humanistic spirit.
