It is because time in this world is always changing and for that reason, the words to describe time are also changing (fuzzy). We cannot analyze precisely when is the beginning of the time and when is the end of the time. The purpose of this master thesis is then therefore to analyze the differences of4words in Chinese language and Indonesian language that describe the time:"pagi"(morning),"siang"(afternoon),"sore"(evening), and "malam"(night). In addition, based on the basis meanings of those4words, the research is conducted further to analyze the other possible meanings and including their usage pragmatically.
