The Research Of ChuLi Recorded In Zuozhuan

Study of Chu culture is an emerging research field since the1980s. For decades,scholars have made many achievements in this field. At present about the Study ofChuLi, the scholars pay more attention to "Chu ci" and archaeological data. ChuLi inZuoZhuan, relatively get little attention.ZuoZhuan is an important historical andliterary works in pre-qin period, and is also considered as an important ritual studybook except three "rite". Scholars of pre-qin ceremony take records about the ritual inZuoZhuan for example. In ZuoZhuan there are a large number of records about ChuLi,but we found out there are two different ChuLi in ZuoZhuan. One is advocatingetiquette morality which pays attention to junior level, and similar to the central plainsrites, which is called Zhou Shi Chuli. Another is to have the strong local color andseparate the ZhouLi in the central plains from "native ChuLi". Analyzing sources ofsuch differences and its causes can help us grasp ChuLi content accurately andcomprehensibly. Through, the research about ChuLi in ZuoZhuan will help usunderstand the author’s writing purpose which is borrow history of Syria to promotetheir learning concept.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. Theauthor made a simple arrangement about previous study of rite in ZuoZhuan andChuLi. In the second chapter, the author explain ChuLi research connotation of relativeterm-"the ritual","rite" and "vulgar" and "Chu","Chu culture" and "ChuLi".In thethird chapter, the author compiled Chu ji, fierce, bing, army, jia li in ZuoZhuan. Thefourth chapter combined with the third part analysis characteristics of ZuoZhuan. In it,ChuLi in diplomacy take "ZhouShiChuLi" as standard and basis, and in marriage ritualit is based on "indigenous ChuLi". Evaluating the two kinds of ChuLi, author showsthe attitude of praise for ZhouShiChuLi and derogatory manner for "indigenousChuLi"."Aboriginal ChuLi" mixed with rude and breach the ritual. ChuLi inZuoZhuan emphatically describes the ritual of moral value, and ignores the specificrituals, ritual vessels. In the fifth chapter the author analyses the reasons ofcharacteristics appear. The author through the history of Syria’s etiquette moral purpose, which causes the author Israeli forces the event with the hire primarily on selectmaterial. Author of ZuoZhuan contrast and explain the national rise and fall and thecharacter destiny with ZhouShichuLi. Finally draw the conclusion: in the research ofChu culture and ChuLi, we treat the historical materials of Chu in ZuoZhuan, from theperspective of dialectical. We should know: the transformation of the role of theofficial caused by the social change, decide the author’s writing purpose of theZuoZhuan which is borrow narrates the history to learn concepts. Understanding theliterariness and fiction of ZuoZhuan,,we should hold a prudent attitude in the study ofhistorical events, characters, music and culture in it.
