The phenomenon of the aging of the population has become more serious in our country,The aging problem is a new problem for all people and there is no experience to solve it. How toimprove the life quality of old people has become the focus of the whole society. Based on the ethicsPerspective and as the destination for improving the life quality, this thesis has studied the elderly’swell-being and its status quo, and the possible improved countermeasures. Firstly, reviewed the existingabout the elderly’s well-being, made a summary about the significance, value and methods of the researchand proposed the importance of the elderly’s well-being by taking the ethics as a point penetration.Secondly, this article focused on "what is well-being”,“the relationship of moral and well-being”, And tovalue the happiness of the senior citizen as whether they are provided with a treasure of worthiness,learning and pleasure. Thirdly, compare the well-being in different countries and its enlightenments forChina. Fourthly,surveyed430old people in Chongqing by Memorial University of Newfoudland Sealeof Happiness, literature analysis and statistical methods, and draw relevant research results: the subjectivewell-being index of the elderly in Chongqing is in the mid to upper levels, positive emotions and positiveexperience gets a higher score, and there is no gender difference; Subjective well-being has something todo with the age, health status, income, marital status, mode of living, culture degree, family support,confidence in the future of life and living areas. Finally, provide some operational ethical countermeasuresto improve the well being of the elderly according to the research results, entering old age of prepar inadvance;Our Party and Government take "people-oriented" as the concept of governance; insist on familymorality to deal with family relationship and carry forward the tradition of filial piety to create a goodfamily environment; socialist core values; stick to the bottom line by ordinary "conscience"; carry out theaging education policy actively.
