A historical note book Kuixinzashi(癸辛杂识) is written by ZhouMi in SongDynasty,which has a relatively wide range in language coverage.The book records lostincidents that neither in official notes nor hearsay notes,decrees and regulations,socialcustoms,poetry comment,appreciation and criticism of painting and calligraphy and soon.The corpus is rich because of almost every major field’s language is included.Up tonow,the achievements of Guixinzashi language research is few,not to say the systematiclexical research.This thesis attempts to make a preliminary research from the point oflanguage about the aspects of word-collection,paraphrase and documentary evidence,andcompare the Grant Dictionary of Chinese Language.The thesis consists of four parts.The first part,namely introduction,given a briefinformation about the content and versions of Guixinzashi,as well as the selected titlecauses,writing value and method.In the second part,we expound the function thatGuixinzashi lexical to the Grant Dictionary of Chinese Language in the establishment ofthe word head.In the third,we expound the function that Guixinzashi lexical to the GrantDictionary of Chinese Language in the supplementing the meaning item.In the lastpart,we expound the function that Guixinzashi lexical to the Grant Dictionary of ChineseLanguage in the explanation.
