Classifier measure word is one of the character of Chinese, but it is a difficult point and the weakaspect on Chinese teaching and foreigners. So the Classifier’s teaching is very important. How to combinethe teaching and the studying for the class teaching become the need of us. Especially we use theknowledge of the archaic Chinese to direct the foreigners’ study which is a valuable method and then it canhelp the foreigners to understand the Chinese culture. And then to explore the method and the feasibility inthe practice. At the same time, we summrize the supporting ways to help to find a new method to enhancethe teaching efficiency. In this paper, which is based on the ancient Chinese knowledge is divided into threeparts. The first part is introduction which summarize the Classifier’s position in the teaching Chinese as aforeign language and find out some applicative method and then introduce the importance of adding theancient Chinese knowledge. The part two discuss that how to use the ancient Chinese knowledgeeffectively to teach the Classifier in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language form Meaning oftraceability method, Glyph analysis and The taxonomy these three aspects. Through examples tosummarize the similarity of the measure words to finish the teaching idea and design the quantifier’steaching plan and then to guide the similar Classifier’s teaching which can receive a good effect. In this partwhich analyze the Meaning of traceability method’s effect in the teaching Chinese as a foreign languageand how to use this method to solve the actual problem of Classifier. This method is new, so it has someproblem in the early and then we should find some ways to solve them. The part three discuss the assistedteaching method form the teacher and student as the starting point through the correct guide to bring thegood atmosphere to the students. So the foreign students can do their best to study the Classifier. This paperintroduce the teaching of Classifier through the method of combining the knowledge of ancient Chineseand modern Chinese to help the foreigners to study the Classifier effectively.
