Style Analysis Of Experimental Drama Under The Perspective Of Dramatic Stylistics

Drama stylistics is a new independent subject, and the purpose of the research is inthe service of literature and literary criticism. It is mainly used for the analysis oftraditional drama text. In1990s, mature development of the Chinese experimental dramaconstitutes a strong impact on the traditional theater style and enforces us to focus on thenew style. Well, what are the differences between the traditional discourse andexperimental discourse? How does the experimental drama style form the impact anddeconstruction against the traditional one? What advantages and disadvantages do thesetheory analyses have? These problems will be explained in the three parts one by one.This paper is divided into three parts, focuses primarily on the theory building ofdramatic stylistics and the contemporary development of Chinese experimental drama，and analyzes the text of “Rhinoceros in love” with the theory of drama Stylistics，andfinally, summarize the value and limitations of this theory analysis.The main work of the first part is to analyze the deconstruction and digestion ofexperimental drama compared with the form of traditional drama，and explain theadvantages and disadvantages of three main discourse analysis theories in dramastylistics. Finally, explain the reason of sample selection integrated with the developmentand features of Chinese experimental drama.The main work of the second part focused on text analyzing. The text “Rhinocerosin love” is divided into four parts，and analyze the sample text with quantitative analysismethod to make conclusions from both theoretical supplement and text analysis. Thenmake it enrich the analysis theory of drama stylistics，and service style criticism of it.The main work of the third part is to make an assessment of the analysis theory ofdrama stylistics. Firstly，it affirms the value of text analyzing，and then proposes itstheoretical shortcomings and limitations. This could provide the better entry point fortext analyzing and obtain the expressing of discourse power from theory analysis.
