Music And Characteristic Investigation Of Northern Shanxi Folk Songs

Folk songs are classics accumulated by working people during years of life, also one of the traditional culture, the typical representative of national culture and the important root of folk music. Therefore, the research of folk songs is of great value to all the countries. The thesis mainly investigated the structure form and structure features of the Northern Shanxi folk songs, which compared the multiple national principles with the characteristics of the western music and highlighted the style of local music culture. By the analyses and classification of the basic music passages and several structure characteristics of folk songs in the Northern Shanxi folk songs, the thesis compared the basic structure principles and characteristics in the Northern Shanxi folk songs, and contrasted with the western music structure principles.There are totally5chapters in this thesis. The1st chapter introduced the background and present situation of Northern Shanxi folk songs, and proposed the purpose, significance, contents and methods of the thesis. The2nd chapter mainly introduced the history of the Northern Shanxi folk songs from three angles, that is, the development of the Northern Shanxi folk songs, the formation of the natural and social environment, the cultural and art environment. The3rd chapter is the key part of this article, which analyzed the structure types and characteristics of various music passages from the aspects of motivation, melody development, tonality and rhythm. The4th chapter analyzed the aesthetic characteri sties of the Northern Shanxi folk songs through the beauty of the contents and formation of them. The last chapter is the conclusion.The structure principle in the Northern Shanxi folk songs can be seen through the research, and it is one of the ways that embodies the cultural accumulation and national psychology in the northwestern areas. It shows the unique culture fascination and style characteristics in the Northern Shanxi area, and the qualities and meanings of the Northern Shanxi folk songs.
