The Investigation And Research On Dialects Used By Bai-Hui In Shipang Village Eryuan County

Bai-Hui Ethnic Group is a unique group of people living in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, they speak Bai dialect, wear traditional Bai clothes and live in traditional Bai buildings, but they adhere to the religion of Islam. Bai-Hui Ethnic Group has kept characteristics both of Islamic and Bai culture due to the long life living in the encirclement of Bai Ethnic Group. Same as any other Hui Ethnic Group living in other areas, Bai-Hui Ethnic Group uses special Hui dialect in daily life. Bai-Hui Ethnic Group, who is living in Shipang Village, Eryuan County, speaks a kind of special dialect called Hei dialect. Based on the situation, the paper focuses on investigating and analyzing the special Hui dialect and Hei dialect used by Bai-Hui Ethnic Group, comes out to the conditions of the usage of special Hei dialect.There are totally four parts in the paper.The first part is to introduce the background, the research object, the basis of the study and the research ideas. It’s the preparation for the whole research and to be summarized as raising the questions.The second part is to investigate the Hui dialect used by Bai-Hui Ethnic Group living in Shipang Village, Eryuan County. The research is to analyze the connotation and characteristics of special Hui dialect and focus on different ages, genders and educational backgrounds.The third part is to investigate the Hei dialect used by Bai-Hui Ethnic Group living in Shipang Village, Eryuan County. The research is to analyze the connotation and characteristics of Hei dialect and focus on different ages, genders and occupations.The second and third part can be concluded as analyzing the questions.The forth part is the conclusion, including the theoretical discussion and the conditions of usage. There is a certain logical relationship between special Hui dialect and Hei dialect. This part is to summary the relationship and reasons after analyzing in the above second and third part. In the last, the paper also talking about the development of the special Hui dialect and Hei dialect. This part is to answer the questions.
