The "Polymerization" And "Diffusion" Of Mount Wuduo’s Taoist Culture In The Folk Life

Since Ming Dynasty,Great Zhenwu had received respect and adoration of all the people nationwide.And the Zhenwu faith had deeply rooted in people’s heart since then.As an old mountain, Taoist culture is located in Nanyang city of Henan province.And its Taoist culture displays the belief culture which regards Great Zhenwu as the core.I find that the Taoist culture in Mount Wuduo is not unalterable during the historical evolution by observing the temples on the top of Mount Wuduo and the pilgrims who live around me.With the times, especially in recent years, the link between the religious influence and the folk life is becoming closer and closer.At the same time, its external manifestation alters gradually such as the temples and the god.This paper research on the basis of analyzing the literature,proceed from vision of fieldwork to have a deep description of the specific expressions such as the temples,the gods, acts of faith, folk narratives and its influence etc. And I will take the Taoist temple in Zhenping county as the subject,and consider these specific expressions as religious phenomenon,thus I could analyze its cultural signals of cohesion and spread with regarding the lateral and vertical variations as the clu.In general,I will chose the Taoist temple in Zhenping county as my fieldwork sites,and view the two temples in Zhenping and Nanzhao as a whole.By describing the religious phenomenon deeply, this paper research intends to reveal the important relationship between its Taoist culture and the folk life as to grasp the veining of Taoist culture development in Mount Wuduo.So this paper research carries out a significant social and cultural meaning.
