Chapter one is the preface of the thesis, which introduces the purpose and the significance of this thesis. On the basis of studying the relevant writings, we summarize the results that has been made and the breakthrough that will be made from this paper.Chapter two focuses on the definition of discourse markers "personal pronoun+say" and studies their function. We establish defined standard of discourse markers "personal pronoun+say":"I say","you sayl","you say2","you say3","we say","we say","they say", and conclude the members of discourse markers "personal pronoun+say". Afterwards, analyse its tone adjustment features, interpersonal features and the language article features.Chapter three discuss mainly on the study of the grammaticalization of discourse markers "personal pronoun+say". Diachronic study fouses on their formation time and source of semantic, synchronic study focuses on their frequency, distribution, sentence category selection, then we conclude the grammaticalization class of discourse markers "personal pronoun+say".Chapter four focuses on grammaticalization mechanism and explains the reason of the grammaticalization class. Grammaticalization mechanism includes:syntax environment, re-analysis, context absorption, back reasoning, metaphor and subjectivity. The reasons of the grammaticalization class are "pronouns+say" through frequent usage, style differences, the amount of information from pronouns, the law from ourself to others, pronouns’s activated capacity differences to dialogue framework, the advantage of double syllables rhythm and the difference between the mark items and non-mark items.Chapter five is the conclusion which summarizes our viewpoints.
