"Thangka" is unique form of Tibetan Buddhism art, its style with delicate, beautiful, gorgeous, characterized, reflecting the delicate artistic conception and superb drawing skills. As in painting uses a lot of material on the gold, silver, precious stones and many precious natural plant pigments and natural mineral pigments, thangka screen also has a look as new, never change a material advantage.Tibetan Buddhism has been used as the main performance of the content thangka in defining form of artistic expression and materials, techniques respects strictly adhere to the normative, to a certain extent, restricted the thangka innovations in style and form ability, but also makes the traditional performance practices of many details in the thangka survived, many areas in painting has been disappearing ancient techniques, material advantage in the thangka was passed down intact.In an interview with the Mongolian Buddhist art, aligning them with the local culture and art of combining the process of gradually forming a personality full of ethnic Tibetan Buddhist painting system. Buddhist thangka in the dissemination process of development has been constantly suffer from the Central Plains Han, Western, Central Asia, India, Kashmir, Nepal and the impact of Buddhist art in different regions, the formation of different styles and genres, and in color, skills, content, subject matter, etc. presents a unique look and features.
