There is no thesis about Chinese adapted versions of Waiting for Godot in China now. So this paper is based on four typical Chinese adapted versions of Waiting for Godot. And we have chosen Body in theatre as the research perspective, tried for providing more reference material for Chinese theatre studies. This paper has analysed Gao Xingjian’s Station, Meng Jinghui’s Waiting for Godot, Lin Zhaohua’s Three Sisters and Waiting for Godot, Li Ran’s Wait until Godot comes. The concept of Body in theatre has changed gradually in these four plays. At first, the Body means motion and order, then Meng Jinhui show us the progenitive Body, and Lin Zhaohua made the Body in theatre as the distorted one. Finally, Li Ran’Body in theatre has been cleaned up.
