Imagery can be understood as meaningful image, but not all contains the meaning of the image is the imagery, only in a work of art with the aid of formal language to describe the meaningful image is "imagery".In the daily music activities, in order to facilitate interpersonal of music on cognitive and emotional communication, must use the language should be the contents of "form" to the vivid image of the imagine level to describe them, express their understanding of music and feelings. Because of daily music activities which require the participation of the imagery, so the imagery of music research is a help to the understanding of music and communication.Guzheng’s imagery is very rich, it particularly suitable for research on imagery. To comb the music literature, Guzheng in diversion has presented a trend of popularization, to enhance its performing, recreational, this trend indicates that zheng exhibited were found in the historical evolution which is easily acceptable by the general public perception, powerful expression ability,it also prove the Guzheng’s imagery is so rich.For practicing Guzheng’s imagery research,this article selects the Guzheng of Zhejiang School. Through some traditional musical of Guzheng in Zhejiang School for imagery classification, and in the process of imagery to describe an appropriate technical analysis and style, final made a new summary for style of Guzheng in Zhejiang School.Some musical of elegant and Pure, compared with other Guzheng School, pay more attention to literati, refined taste and ethical connotations. Some musical of flexible, compared with other Guzheng School, its imagery performance of complex events more smart and clever. Above in Zhejiang School ethnomusicologists, for example the imagery classification and analytical work showed that the study of imagery is a feasible and valuable music research method.
