Objective: An investigation was conducted in order to study and compare the therapeuticeffect differences about imageology of reducting with means and operating with AF systemon the patients with Simple Compressed Thoracolumbar Fractures. Methods: This article reviewed systematically the document concerning ThoracolumbarFractures, summarized the research results both here and aborad about the etiology andpathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment. Fourty patients which suffering from SimpleCompressed Thoracolumbar Fractures were collected. We divided these patientsto two groups. One group (20 cases) were treated by correcting with means andbolster, the other (20 cases) were treated by fixing with AF system. Both group wereobserved nine months. Measure the X-ray about the injured vertebra. The curative effectis evaluated according to the changes of vertebra distortion.Result. Through clinical research, the result shows that there have distinct differencesbetween the two groups in therapeutic effect (P<0.05), There is a distinct difference ineach group after the patients were treated (P<0.01), An important thing we find is thatthere is an obvious difference between the third month and the ninth month in the groupwhich treated with means (P<0.05), while the other group have no clear changes (P>0.05). It shows, three months after treatment, the loss of vertebral body height appearsin the group which treated by reducting with means, but this phonomenon was notarise in the other group which treated by operation.
