Clinical Study On The Effect Of Xiaoji Powder Preparation For Infusion In Treating Endometriosis Of Shireyuzu Type

Endometriosia (EM) is a disease that a wrong growth of endometrial gland and stromadevelop in anywhere of body but inside the uterine cavity, characterized by sterility,dysmenorrhea, persistent lower abdominal pain, irregular menstruation, coitus pain andperiods scar pain etc. Now the mechanism has not been entirely illuminated. It has greatside-effect,high relapse-rate and other shortages with the therapeutics of hormone orsurgery,though it has some curative effect. Now the study of EM has acquired some effectin Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with blood stasis being the root reason. Not a fewscholars have proposed that ShiReYuZu is the pathogenesis of Endometriosia. It has beenconfirmed that the QingReLiShi, HuoXueHuaYu method is effective, whose mechanism ofaction has still not completely illuminated and clinic effect needs to be advanced.Objective:To observe the effect of XiaoJi powder preparation for infusion in treatingendometriosis and to explore its mechanism. Methods: 34 patients due to ShiReYuZu(SRYZ) type were divided into two groups: 17 cases are settled as experiment groups,who are treated with XiaoJi powder preparation for infusion. The prescription consist ofsome traditional Chinese medicines, which are paeoniae radix, Carthamus tinctorius,common burreed tuber, zedoary rhizome, thallus laminariae, nutgrass galingale rhizome,coicis semen, Eupolyphaga seu Steleophaga, dandelion, Astragalus mongholicus and so on.17 cases are settled as control groups, who are treated with gestrinone. Before and aftertreatment, the clinical symptoms, physical sign and CA125 were observed. Results:Concerning the general symptoms, physical sign and CA125, each group performedobvious improvement and demonstrated significance by contrast between pre-andpost-manifestation. Concerning the effect, both group performed no demonstratedsignificance by contrast. XiaoJi powder preparation for infusion is better to regulatemenstrual cycle, to improve physical sign;worse to reduce CA125. Conclusion: XiaoJi powder preparation for infusion, which is security, is an effective recipe in treatingEndometriosis. The effect may be achieved through rectifying the blood stasis andimmunity dysfunction.
