Clinical Research On The Lifting And Immerging Of Medical String In The Treatment Of Hemorrhoids

OBJECTIVE: To assess the efficacy of the lifting and immerging of medicalstring in the treatment of hemorrhoids.METHODS: Thirty patients of internal hemorrhoids were divided into two groups:group A was treated by lifting and immerging of medical string method and group B(15 cases) was by Milligan-Morgan’s procedure. A list of clinical outcomes wasextracted, such as postoperative pain both rest and after defecation, bleeding, urinaryretention and recovery time. Patients were followed up for anal function andsatisfaction from 4 months to 12.5 months. Independent-samples T test and theChi-square test was calculated if possible.RESULTS: There was significant difference in postoperative pain 7 by VAShours after operation score between the 2 groups (3.747±1.784, 5.28±1.9195, P＜0.05); the pain score after defecation has no significant difference (4.007±1.595,3.680±1.526, P＞0.05).Bleeding during operation has sufficient difference (2.43±1.72, 4.33±3.07, P＜0.05). The number of tube drainage urine were 0 cases(group A), 5 cases (group B), (P＜0.05). Recovery time was 13.874±5.153, 29.20±17.84, P＜0.05. There were no special complications in group A, and there was 1patient in group B who was recurrence by bleeding and prolapse.CONCLUSION:①The lifting and immerging of medical string in thetreatment of hemorrhoids can reduce bleeding during operation, postoperative painafter 7 hours and reduce the rate of tube drainage urine, it also has less recovery time;②Compared with conventional hemorrhoidectomy, the lifting and immerging ofmedical string in the treatment of hemorrhoids has the same efficacy and with lesscomplications;③The lifting and immerging of medical string in the treatment ofhemorrhoids is effective and safe in analgesia after combined hemorrhoids surgery.
