ObjectiveTo get started with some expression of squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCA)in common dermatosis, and compare it between dermatosis and malignanttumor.Explore the the significance of clinical treatment and the possible reasonswhy SCCAin common skin disease rised.MethodsUsing chemiluminescence detected patients’Serum levels of SCCA who were inFirst Hospital of Shanxi Medical University,362cases patients with skin diseasedand184with cancer. A analysis of the expression and the positive rate of SCCA intwo groups, and if there is a difference among various range of SCCA;Patients withPsoriasis、 eczema、generalised dermatitis and bullous dermatoses were analizedaccording to gender, age, involved lesions area, course; The SCCA level of22casespatients with skin diseases were analized before and after treatment;A multiariableLogistic regression analysis of what is likely to affect the levels of SCCA.ResultsSerum SCCA average level in skin diseases group is1.4800ng/mL, belowerthan tumor group, and has significantly statistics difference in two groups (P <0.001);especially in the range of0-2ng/mL、2-4ng/ml.The positive rate of SCCA levelin skin diseases group is41.2%but76.1%in tumor group, and the differencebetween the them is significant,The serum SCCA levels in erythroderma、psoriasis、generalised dermatitis、 eczema、and bullous dermatoses, were significantly increased, and in the back four dermatosises the levels of SCCA in the involvedarea larger goup are significantly higher than that in the involved area lessergoup(p<0.001). In bullous dermatoses, there is a statistically difference betweengender groups, the levels of SCCA in men are higher than women (p <0.05), butno difference in psoriasis、 generalised dermatitis、 eczema. In generaliseddermatitis,SCCA levels are significantly lower in the group of age≤60years than thatin the group of age>60years(p<0.01),but no difference in others. All of the fourdermatitis have no statistical difference between course groups (p>0.05)..Ineczema,there are significantly lower levels of SCCA in sub-acute and acute groupthan that in the chronic group,On the basis of Logistic regression analysis, the lesionarea (OR=4.031) and gender (OR=2.234)are possible factors that affecting SCCAlevels (P <0.05), The median of SCCA levels before treatment was17.9750ng/ml,while5.2500ng/ml after treatment. There is a significant differencestatistically (P <0.001).Conclusion:1. Compared with the malignant tumor, the level of SCCA in skin diseasewere lower.2. SCCA is not a specific indicators of malignant tumor, while in erythroderma, psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, bullous dermatoses and other common skin diseasesmay be higher than normal.Lesion involved area, gender may be associated with theexpression of SCCA.3. The level of SCCA decreased after treatment.
