Objective:The study regarded the nursing undergraduates of a university in Shanxi from2008to2013as the research object, tracked and investigated the loss situation of the student., analyzed the reasons why nursing undergraduates leave their positions, and then put forward corresponding countermeasures in order to reduce the nursing undergraduate loss rate and keep the stability of nurse team.Methods:This study adopted the method of random sampling, randomly selected400nursing undergraduates from2008to2013as the research object, which was divided into two groups:people engaged in nursing care working group and working group. The paper took the term of a questionnaire survey, which used uniform instructions and explanations of filling. It contains general personal information (gender, age, undergraduate graduation whereabouts, current positions, marital status, department, annual income, whether preparation, etc.) and six parts relating with the nursing loss (the load of working and the physical and mental health, occupational exposure and risking aversion, job satisfaction and turnover intention, the doctor-patient relationship and the doctor-nurse relationship, the professional quality and moral, hospital management and working environment). The EpiData3.0was used to data entry the SPSS13.0was used to statistically analyze. The methods of descriptive analysis, chi-square test and rank test were applied to analyze the main reason of the loss of nursing undergraduates. Finally, the paper put forward the corresponding countermeasure so as to keep the stability of the nurse team.Results:The object was divided into the research group and the control group, there are300and100questionnaires respectively. And effective questionnaires accounted for273and85respectively.1. People who are engaged in nursing working can own about1001-6000yuan per month, people who are not engaged can own about2001-7000yuan per month. Obviously, the average monthly income of people who are not engaged in nursing group is higher than the nursing group;2. People who are engaged in nursing daily work for8,9, or more than9hours, people who are not engaged focus on8hours. Apparently, people who are engaged in nursing work group have more hours than those outside the nursing working group among average daily work;3. People who are engaged in nursing group take4to6times to conduct the all night shift, sometimes even7to9times, people who are not engaged in nursing working group do not conduct during night;4. People working in nursing group are under more pressure than those who are not engaged in nursing group. The data of two groups has statistically significance (P<0.05);5. More people who are not engaged in nursing working group think that the current clinical nurse shortage has become one of the patient’s important safety concerns than those who are engaged in the nursing working group. The data from two groups has statistically significance (P<0.05);6. People who are not engaged in nursing have lower satisfaction than those who are engaged in nursing in the term of the hospital how to safeguard the rights and interests of nurses when the doctor-patient conflicts happened. The data from the two groups also has statistically significance (P<0.05);7. People who are not engaged in the nursing working group currently have better satisfaction than those who are engaged in nursing working group. The data from two groups has statistically significance (P<0.05);8. People who are not engaged in nursing working group hold the idea that their current job can more reflect their compensation to the unit labor cost than those who are engaged in nursing working group, two groups data with statistically significance (P<0.05);9. People who are not engaged in nursing working group think that current job can more reflect their abilities than those who are engaged in the nursing working group, two groups data with statistically significance(P<0.05);10. More people who are engaged in nursing working group in a future year plan to leave the current position than those who are not engaged in nursing working group, two groups data with statistically significance (P<0.05);11. The date from the survey of the current nurses working environment in the two groups has no statistically significance (P>0.05), which reflect that people of both groups figure that the working environment of nurses is not ideal;12. More people who are engaged in the nursing group will choose the same position than those who not engaged in nursing working group, two groups data with statistically significance (P<0.05);13. The data from the survey of whether both groups people support the point that currently the hospital attach more importance to medical than nursing has no statistically significant (P>0.05), which indicate that both groups people figure that the point is actually existed.14. In a survey whether patients regard nurses as the practitioner of "injection, infusion", it reveals that more than50%of the two groups people find that the nurses are viewed as the practitioner of "injection, infusion" by the most of the patients.15. The group who are engaged in the nursing team consider that nursing is just for making a living and their position is low, while the group who are not engaged in nursing most thought that their current profession is valuable;16. The group who engaged in the field of nursing believes that they will leave the care team once the opportunity is mature, the "agree" and "strongly agree" accounted for more than50%. Conclusion; The paper investigated the loss situation of nursing undergraduates of Shanxi provincial university from2008to2013through the questionnaire. The author compared and analyzed the result and got that there are some factors impact the loss of the nursing undergraduates including salaries, work stress, social respect, development space, working environment and so on, the loss rate gradually become stable with the increment of graduate years. The author put forward the measures to reduce the loss rate of nursing undergraduates, provided reference for the college nursing education and hospital nursing management, and in order to improve the nursing quality and the stability of the nursing team.Countermeasure:1. Improving the training for nurses before they go to work and carrying out strict nurse access system;2. Increasing the participation of nurses in the medical rescue, and improving their professional image;3. Strengthening the humanistic care, improving their salaries, relieving their work pressure and create a harmonious working environment.
