Coronary heart disease genetic testing, refers to the cell’s DNA molecules detected by microarray methods and analysis techniques to detecting coronary heart disease genesand other disease susceptibility genes. In other words, genetic testing of coronary heart disease is to predict the occurrence of coronary heart disease through detecting coronary heart disease susceptibility genes. At present there are11kinds of accepted common coronary heart disease genes:the apolipoprotein E gene (ApoE), apolipoprotein B gene(apoB), endothelial nitric oxide synthase gene (NOS3), angiotensin gene (AGT), angiotensin-converting enzyme gene (ACE), G protein β3subunit gene (GNB3),plasma fibrinogen B gene(FGB),5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene(MTHFR), E-selectin gene(SELE), Interleukin6gene(IL6), tumor necrosis factor gene(TNF). Association of these11kinds of genes and coronary heart disease has been studied more at home and abroad, for example, apolipoprotein E (ApoE) and apolipoprotein B (apoB) were significantly positively associated with coronary heart disease, AGT and ACE significantly with hypertension, GNB3with obesity and diabetes, and MTHFR gene with coronary heart disease through reflecting the impact of homocysteine, and so on. As can be seen from the abov these11genes reflect CHD from different angles. whether the11kinds of genes as a whole to assess, were more associated with the occurrence of coronary heart disease. There is lack of such research presently. Objective:To understand the correlation of genetic testing and coronary heart disease, as well as the degree of association. Methods:60cases of coronary heart disease, aged40-65years old. and60non-coronary heart disease paired by same gender and similar age were studied.In-person interview was conducted to collect information on gender, age, family history of coronary heart disease, and history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Meanwhile coronary heart disease genes were detected. Starting the1:1conditional Logistic regression analysis. Results:Family history of coronary heart disease, history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus, and coronary heart disease genes were associated with coronary heart disease. The correlation of coronary heart disease genes and coronary heart disease was lower than that of the other3factors.Conclusions:There are correlation between coronary heart disease genes and coronary heart disease.
