Objective:To discuss the genetic association of infantile hemangioma andits different clinical features in Guangxi Han population with HLA-DRB1allelepolymorphisms.Methods: Study subjects include99patients who have infantilehemangioma (hemangioma group) and105normal infants(control group) inGuangxi Han population.HLA-DRB1alleles in this two groups were typed bypolymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primers (PCR-SSP). Case-controlmethod was sued to analyze the relationship between HLA-DRB1alleles andinfantile hemangioma and its different clinical characteristics.SPSS softwarewas usded for statistical analysis.Results:1. The distribution of HLA-DRB1alleles between hemangioma group andcontrol group.In our study of17alleles,13alleles were detected in hemangioma group, gene frequency ranged from1.01%to48.48%.HLA-DRB1*16,*1501,*0901gene frequency were the top three;the gene frequency respectivelywere48.48%,25.25%,25.25%.The lest frequent of three were HLA-DRB1*01,*07,*08; the gene frequency respectively were1.01%,3.03%,3.03%.HLA-DRB1*03,*1301,*1302,*1502were not be detected in hemangiom a group.And14alleles were detected in control group, gene frequency ranged from1.90%to33.33%. HLA-DRB1*1401,*16,*1201gene frequencywere the top three;the gene frequency respectively were33.33%,29.52%,24.76%.The lest frequent of three were HLA-DRB1*1001,*1301,*1502;thegene frequency were all1.90%. DRB1*01,*03,*1302were not be detected.2.The comparison of the frequcncy of HLA-DRB1alleles betweenhemangioma group and control group.The frequencies of HLA-DRB1*0901、*16were significantly higher inhemangioma group than in control group(χ2﹦8.869,P﹦0.003;χ2﹦7.720,P﹦0.005);while the frequency of HLA-DRB1*1401was significantyly lower inhemangioma group than in control group(χ2﹦11.558,P﹦0.001).And therewere no significantiy different betweent the other two group.3. The comparison between male/female group and control group about thefrequcncy of HLA-DRB1alleles.The frequency of HLA-DRB1*1401allele was significantly lower both inmale group and female group than in control group(χ2﹦8.139,P﹦0.004;χ2﹦6.382,P﹦0.012);while the frequency of HLA-DRB1*16allele was significantlyhigher in this two groups than in control group(χ2﹦7.010,P﹦0.008;χ2﹦7.130,P﹦0.008). At the same time,we discovere that the frequency ofHLA-DRB1*0901was significantyly higher only in female group than incontrol group(χ2﹦11.473,P﹦0.001).While the frequency of HLA-DRB1*1201was significantly lower only in female group than in control group(χ2﹦4.836,P﹦0.028).4.The comparison of the frequcncy of HLA-DRB1alleles between differentpathological changes of four groups and control group. The frequencies of HLA-DRB1*0901、*16were significantyly higher bothin multiple parts group and heat and neck group than in control grou(pP﹤0.05).And there were no significantiy different in trunk group and limbs region group.We just discovered the frequency of HLA-DRB1*1401was significantyly lowerin trunk group than in control group(χ2﹦5.573,P﹦0.018).5.The comparison of the frequcncy of HLA-DRB1alleles between positive/negative hemangioma family history groups and control group.The frequencies of HLA-DRB1*0901、*16were significantyly higher onlyin negative hemangioma family history group than in control group(χ2﹦10.139,P﹦0.001;χ2﹦8.947,P﹦0.003).While the frequency of HLA-DRB1*1401was significantyly lower only in negative hemangioma family historygroup than in control group(χ2﹦13.203,P﹦0.000). And there were nosignificantiy different in positive hemangioma family history group.Conclusions:1. HLA-DRB1*0901、*16may be the susceptibility genes or have the chainwith these susceptibility genes of han nationality in guangxi. people who carrythese two alleles may have the hemangioma in multiple parts or heat andneck,At the same time,They usually do not have hemangioma familial history.2. HLA-DRB1*1401may be the protection genes or have the chain withthese protection genes of han nationality in guangxi.3. Female infant who carry HLA-DRB1*0901may increase the risk ofhemangioma compare with male.4. Female infant who carry HLA-DRB1*1201allele may decrease the riskof hemangioma.
