Objective: To analyze the expression of FKBP12and FKBP52inhepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) and to explore its relationship withclinicopathological factors. Methods: To detect expressions of FKBP12and FKBP52in60cases ofHCC tissues,60cases of adjacent tissues,10cases of hepatic hemangioma and10cases of normal liver tissue by Immunohistochemical streptavidin-perosidase(SP) method and to analyze their clinical significance combining withclinicopathological factors. Results: The expression rates of FKBP12in HCC, adjacent tissues, liverhemangioma and normal liver tissues were66.7%,30%,20%,40%, thedifference among the four was statistically significant (χ2=20.269, P <0.05),and FKBP12expression in HCC was higher than each of the adjacent tissues, liver hemangioma and normal liver tissues (P <0.05). The expression rates ofFKBP52in HCC, adjacent tissues, liver hemangioma and normal liver tissueswere63.3%,26.7%,40%,20%, the difference among the four was statistically significant (χ2=18.861, P <0.01), and the expression of FKBP52in HCC was higher than the adjacent tissues and normal liver tissues,it wasstatistically significant (P <0.05), but it was no statistically significantcomparing with the expression of hepatic hemangioma (P>0.05). Expression ofFKBP12compared with FKBP52expression in HCC tissues, the differencebetween the two groups was not statistically significant (p>0.05). Therelationship with clinicopathological factors of FKBP12and FKBP52inhepatocellular carcinoma: There was no significant relationship betweenFKBP12in HCC tissue levels and age, gender, cirrhosis, hepatitis B virusinfection,(P>0.05); but it was related to tumor size, pathological grading,AFP level,(P <0.05). There was no significant relationship between FKBP52inHCC tissue and age, gender, tumor size, cirrhosis, serum AFP levels,(P>0.05); but it was related to pathological grading, hepatitis B virus infection,(P<0.05).Conclusion: The expressions of FKBP12and FKBP52is closely related tothe high incidence of HCC. FKBP12may be related to the occurrence anddevelopmen of HCC cells, and may be related to liver cancer patients haveelevated serum AFP level relationship; FKBP52may be related to thedifferentiation of hepatocellular carcinoma and may be involved inphysiological and biochemical processes of the liver by hepatitis B virusinfection.
