ObjectiveBy observing the effect of different levels hypotension on the carotid artery moderate stenosis rabbit model plasma neuron-specific enolase (neuron-specific enolase, NSE) and the expression of S100b and explore the effect of brain tissue damage.Methods25healthy male New Zealand rabbits were equally randomly divided into5groups after being made into models with bilateral carotid moderate stenosis. All rabbit femoral artery puncture, and then connect the pressure transducer and the biological signal acquisition system for dynamic monitoring of blood pressure, Control group (group K) was not processed. Propofol group1(group P1) and nitroglocerin group1(group XI) were reduced by10%-15%of basal blood pressure. Propofol group2(group P2) and nitroglocerin group (group X2) were reduced by15%-20%of basal blood pressure, and after30minutes, group P2and group X2were restored to basal blood pressure. Reserve blood specimens after12h,24h and48h respectively and detect their protein S100b and NSE by ELISA.ResultsCompared with control group, the expressions of S100b and NSE of each group at various time points were high, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After comparing P2and P1, X2and X1, it was found that the expressions of S100b and NSE at various time points were high, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Through the comparison of Propofol group and Nitroglocerin group, it was proved that the expressions of S100b and NSE at various time points were low, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionWhen the blood pressure of rabbits with bilateral carotid moderate stenosis is reduced by10%-15%and15%-20%, Propofol group and the Nitroglycerin group of rabbit plasma S100b and NSE expression increased, which indicates there may be brain injury. Nitroglocerin group will bring about more serious brain injury than Propofol group.
