Boys and girls were close to2:1ratio (247:132), nearly99%(98.4%,366/372) belonged to the Han nationality, the percentage the only child slightly more than half of the total(53.83%,204/379). About half of the cases (49.7%,187/379) lived in rural areas, and people who assessed oneself academic was above the medium level accounted for (46.8%,176/376).95%cases were minded by their parents, and three fifths of the adolescents (80.4%,300/379) were in the middle income levels and above. About one fourth (52/389,11.1%) had a history of disease, trauma, blood transfusion. In this group of respondents, the rates were37.5%(142/379),33.8%(128/379),15.0%(57/379) on ENT diseases, upper respiratory disease, ear inflammation (non-purulent, purulent, or other), and ears, face, neck congenital malformations, and there were5.3percent (20/379) had a dual diagnosis, not all pure otolaryngology disease patients. The scores of cognitive development on average:Education bipolar3.4±0.82, interpersonal bipolar3.0±0.77, education relative4.5±0.96, interpersonal relative4.3±0.86, living liability4.3±1.03, about health-related dysfunction:understanding and communication1.7±0.69, moving around1.6±0.69, self-care1.4±0.67, along with others1.8±0.70, social involvement1.9±0.70. The total mean marks of puberty-related KAP were3.6±0.56, adolescence KAP and psychosocial KAP were3.3±0.90,3.7±0.57. According to evaluation showing the close relationship, equal scores of supporting factor from mother, father, same-sex friends, friends of the opposite sex and romance relationship were2.7±0.94,2.5±0.92,3.0±0.92,2.2±0.94,1.6±0.92, negative factors’mean scores were1.9±0.75,1.8±0.6,1.8±0.6,1.6±0.53,1.4±0.55.Correlation analysis indicated that there was significantly negative relationship between puberty-KAB score and the total score of WHODAS, which had no remarkable correlation with cognitive development.ConclusionPuberty of the male and the female became increasingly mature, and the male slightly later than the female, a majority of inpatient adolescents did not exist family-related dysfunction or greatly and negatively close relationships. ENT adolescents KAP had great differences in gender, which greatly increase with the degree of puberty and the male had less sexual development knowledge. Part of teenagers had health-related dysfunctions, and adolescent cognitive level revealed not relationship with gender, only showing differences in pubertal stages. There were weaker relationships between KAP level of adolescent patients, positive interpersonal support, interpersonal cognition and education. Systematically assessment may help to find the physicial and psychological factors prohibiting health development of inpatient adolescents, which guide the design and implement of the personalized and holistic care plan, also promoting the development of adolescent friendly health service.
