Objective: To discuss the operation, complications,influencing factors ofcongenital esophageal atresia (CEA),Materials and Methods: a retrospective analysis of13cases of admittedin our department from2004-01to2014-02concurrent CEA,the patient’sclinical data and follow-up survival conditions.Results:13cases successful operation by the pleural approach.1case ofanastomotic leak.1case of recurrent tracheoesophageal fistula.5case ofanastomotic stricture.1cases of sever infection of pulmonary and give uptreatment for economic reasons.Died two weeks later after discharge.The curerate is92%and mortality rate is8%.follow-up all cases after operation.Conclusion: Operation is the only effective treatment for CEA. CEArepair via thoracotomy remains as the‘gold standard’. Complications afteroperation contain anastomotic leak, recurrent tracheoesophageal fistula,anastomotic stricture,etc.The influence factors of complicationscontain:pregnant age, birth weight, preoperative complications, anastomotictechnology,clinical type,distances of the loss of esophageal,etc. Early diagnosis can reduce the incidence of complications. Correctly deal with complicationscan get good prognosis.After surgery,the anastomotic situation were assessed inthe regular follow-up. |
