Objective To survey the distribution of herbs on radiation injury in Gansu province,visualized analysis the Chinese paper of herbal on radiation injury,assess the protective effect of extract from Liucha and polysaccharides on radiation injury.Methods①We searched Chinese database and Chinese herbal medicine resources in Gansu province,and reviewed the radiation damage mechanism, the active ingredient, and organized the distribution of herbs on radiation injury in Gansu province.@We analyzed the paper on the herbs on radiation injury by network analysis method and Ucinet software.③The animal studies on polysaccharides for radioprotection activity were included,the quality of included studies were assessed by STAIR checklist,the related data were analyzed by ADDIS(1.16.5) software.④100mice were divided into five groups by random number table,10each group.the mice in normal control group,radiation control group and three different doses extract from Liucha (12g/kg.BW,8g/kg.BW,4g/kg.BW).The first batch50mice were used to observe the symptoms,the average survival time and survival rate, the second batch.50mice were used to observe peripheral blood routine and viscera index.the related data were used by SPSS19.0software.Results①The preliminary survey showed that there are54herbs on radiation injury in Gansu province②the result of visualized analysis showed that more and more authors focus on the herbs on radiation injury in China,but the two topics should care(herbs for radioprotection activity and microwave, ionizing radiation).③the network meta analysis showed that polysaccharides could improve the number of the peripheral blood platelet,red blood cells and white blood cells,reduce the content of malondialdehyde,and enhance the activity of superoxide dismutase in mice.④animal experimental results show that compared with radiation control group,the extract from Liucha could improve the average survival time,survival rate, and the number of the peripheral blood platelet,red blood cells,hemoglobin and white blood cell,has certain protective effect on spleen and thymus gland,but the effective high dose of extract from Liucha group is not obvious.Conclusion There are a lot of herbs on radiation injury in Gansu province.at the same time,more and more authors focus on the herbs on radiation injury in China,but the cooperation of different authors is not enough.the polysaccharides has protective effect on radiation injury.Extract from Liucha has protective effect on hematopoietic function,spleen and thymus,simultaneously,Extract from Liucha enhance the immune function of mice.
