Objective: whether the difference to evaluation of the effect ofradiotherapy on a stage laryngeal carcinoma and evaluate the laryngoscopesurgery, radiotherapy has been supporting early laryngeal laryngoscopy in thevalue.Materials and methods: from2010June to2013June for treatment ofCO2laser assisted minimally invasive operation in46cases of one stagelaryngeal cancer patients,46patients were pathologically confirmed squamouscell carcinoma, which are randomly selected23cases underwent operationtreatment,23patients in No.1Hospital of Jilin University Department ofradiation received postoperative radiotherapy, the dose is50Gy, a single2Gy,range of larynx prophylactic irradiation. Results: all the patients were followed up for3~36months,1yearssurvival rate during a median follow-up of23months of simple operationgroup and operation plus radiotherapy group were100%,3year survival rateswere82.6%and91.3%, the survival rates of the two groups had no statisticaldifference, may be associated with a small amount of sample. Local control ratewas86.9%and100%. two groups of local control rate was statisticallysignificant, operation plus radiotherapy group was better than that of simpleoperation group (Z=-1.992, P=0.048). Radiotherapy group were well tolerated,no serious complications and suspension with radiotherapy. Operation plusradiotherapy group of3patients after radiotherapy in a hoarse voice, allpatients had different degrees of radiation field of skin pigmentation, nosymptoms of local recurrence or distant metastasis, simple operation group had3patients respectively in operation after12months,18months,26months (including tumor local recurrence bed recurrence or lymph node metastasis, recurrence of laryngeal) after subtotal or total laryngectomy operationtreatment. Conclusion: one stage laryngeal minimally invasive postoperativeradiotherapy can improve local control rate of patients for early laryngealcancer patients, can be avoided in order to reduce the local recurrence rate andthe blind expansion of scope of operation and postoperative recovery oflaryngeal function, improve the quality of life of patients. And the side effectscan be tolerated, recommend a minimally invasive laryngeal carcinoma patientswith postoperative radiotherapy.
