Objective: Through the statistics of the perinatal cardiomyopathy cases in ourhospital,to Summarize the characteristics of morbidity, clinical featuresand prognosis.and deepen the understanding of perinatal cardiomyopathy.Methods:Collect37PPCM patients who were hospitalized at the SecondHospital of Jilin University from November2008to November2013. Analyzethe clinical data, symptoms and signs associated auxiliary examination (such asECG, echocardiography, laboratory tests, etc.), diagnosis, treatment andprognosis by a retrospective analysis method.Result:1.In this group of patients,21primiparas(56.7%),16pluriparas(43.3%);26rural patients(70.2%),11Patients in cities andtowns(29.8%).2.The main clinical manifestations of PPCM are exertional chest withshortness of breath(28/37), palpitations(18/37), paroxysmal nocturnaldyspnea(20/37),moreover the cardiac function classifications (NYHA) aremost III-IV(34/37),and only three cases are II.3.Higher incidence of perinatal cardiomyopathy patients withhypoalbuminemia (14/37) and D-dimer significantly elevated;18casesmonitored D-dimer,and the D-dimer level of14patients are over1000μg/L.4.In this group of37PPCM patients,4patients(10.8%) were dead;17ones reviewed the Echocardiography, the level of LVEF,12patients with thelevel of LVEF restored to normal.Conclusions:1. The morbidity of primiparas with PPCM is muchhigher (56.7%) in this group, witch is not in conformity with theepidemiological results abroad.2. Exertional chest tightness, heart palpitations, shortness ofbreath and paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea is a common symptom of peripartum cardiomyopathy, perinatal women above symptomsshould be considered peripartum cardiomyopathy, improve earlydiagnosis and reduce the rate of misdiagnosis3.PPCM patients are prone to be with hypoproteinemia and high bloodcoagulation4. The incidence rate of PPCM is low, but the mortality rate is high(10.8%mortality of this group), After the treatment of internal medicine, theprognosis is satisfied. So it is necessaryto improve the early diagnosis andtreatment, reduce the mortality.
