Research On The Response Of Medical Service

The development of medical enterprise concerns the health of thousands upon thousands of families, and the provision of medical service also affects the implementation of people’s basic health rights. Since the establishment of People’s Republic of China, our medical and health work have made great progress, the physical quality of urban and rural residents have enhanced significantly, and the average life expectancy has increased. The development of medical service has changed from "Disease Centered"、"Hospital Centered" to "Patient Centered". But there is a problem that can not be ignored, that is China’s tertiary public hospitals still exist many problems in the process of medical service provision. On one hand, the existence of these problems has made the low availability and low utilization of medical resources; on the other hand, it results in the waste of high quality medical resources and low efficiency of hospital’s medical service. The national health work conference in1997put forward the slogan of "Patient Centered", it made new demands to the medical and health service of our country. The domestic scholars have made an intensive study of hospital’s current ability to respond based on the development mode of our hospita、our country’s socio-economic system、hospital’s management and the patient’s own reason. They pointed out that the uneven medical and health resources distribution, unreasonable structure, government’s policy regulation and imperfect medical security system are the main reasons causing Chinese resident’s medical problems、the strained doctor-patient relationship and low efficiency of medical services. This paper aims to explore the problem of the poor ability of medical service to respond. First, it understands the current research status by reading and combing the related literature at home and abroad. Second, it discusses the existing problems in the process of medical services in terms of service concept、 hospital environment service attitude、medical procedures and medical results based on the field research in the tertiary public hospitals in Changsha. Third, it analyzes the reason of hospital’s poor ability to respond based on our country’s current economic and social status. Finally, it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on improving the poor ability of medical service to respond based on the existing problems.
