As an important means of detecting the cardiovascular disease, especially as the golden standard of detecting all different kinds of arrhythmias, electrocardiogram in the clinic is of significance when diagnoses the myocardial ischemia. It has already been a target of realization of the automatic analysis and the diagnosis of ECG since the birth of ambulatory electrocardiogram. With the improvement of the living conditions and the development of the health protection, cardiovascular disease has become one of the highest incidences compared with other diseases.Firstly, the limitation of the portable ECG monitoring device has been analyzed. Based on the previous researches on the automatic electrocardiogram analyzer, a total solution algorithm with the advantages of good anti-artifact and high real time analysis was proposed. On the issues of recognition of the arrhythmia, an algorithm similar to the doctor’s clinical diagnosis process which recognized the beat type and the heart rhythm was presented. And then the algorithm was realized with logic branch criterion. After the test, the system gave subjects the diagnosis and health advice to make the subjects aware of their heart health. In order to meet different kinds of market demands, this paper provides two kinds of schemes to realize the portable ECG monitoring systems. This paper also uses the standard ECG signal generator to verify the results after the implement of the algorithm into the two plans. The results show that the system is stable and simulation results of the algorithm are accurate and reliable. The results also confirm the feasibility of the total solution and also provide a solution for the portable ECG monitoring field.
