Objects:Three selection with Tibetan medicinal, antibacterial and antiviral activity of Tibetan Terminalia, Kudo, Lagotis, water extracts prepared and ethanol extracts of common oral cariogenic bacteria Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus growth and acid production affected. Preliminary comparison and discussion of the three Tibetan water extract and ethanol extracts have antibacterial activity and influence on Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus growth and acid production, as natural medicine caries provide new ideas.Method:1. Three were prepared by aqueous extract of Tibetan medicine and alcohol extract, dubbed the concentration of lmg/ml liquid reserve.2. Rogasa medium and MS medium, respectively, of the deformation hammer and Lactobacillus be solid and liquid culture.3. The three Tibetan two extracts were diluted with dilution method to a concentration of0.5mg/ml,0.25mg/ml,0.125mg/ml,0.0625mg/ml concentration gradient of four pieces were prepared for susceptibility in the solid medium and set the negative and positive controls, into the anaerobic incubator, cultured24h, observed inhibition zone diameter.4. Alcohol Terminalia Streptococcus mutans is no inhibitory effect of high concentrations of alcohol extraction and ethanol extracts Lagotis Duyiwei inhibit the growth of Streptococcus mutans. Alcohol Terminalia Streptococcus mutans no inhibitory effect. The Alcohol and Alcohol Lagotis Kudo at0.5mg/ml,0.25mg/ml, when0.125mg/ml have inhibitory effects on the growth of Streptococcus mutans. When0.0625mg/ml no inhibitory effect on Streptococcus mutans.2.three Tibetan affect water extract and ethanol extract of S. mutans acid production.Water extraction and water extraction Terminalia Lagotis on the contrary, to promote high acid production of Streptococcus mutans streptococci production of acid concentration deformation, low concentrations but inhibits Streptococcus mutans acid production. Water extraction Kudo suppress acid production of Streptococcus mutans. Alcohol Terminalia no effect on Streptococcus mutans acid production. Alcohol and Alcohol Lagotis Kudo are on the Streptococcus mutans acid inhibition.3.three Tibetan affect water extract and alcohol extract of the growth of lactobacilli.Water extraction and water extraction Terminalia Lagotis at a concentration of0.5mg/ml, inhibitory effect of Lactobacillus when0.25mg/ml. Four concentration gradient of aqueous extract of Lactobacillus Kudo has antibacterial effects. Terminalia Alcohol, Alcohol Lagotis, respectively Kudo alcohol extract at a concentration of0.5mg/ml,0.25mg/ml, inhibitory effect of Lactobacillus when0.125mg/ml, when the concentration0.0625mg/ml no inhibitory effect.4.Three Tibetan affect water extract and ethanol extract of lactic acid producing bacteria.Water extraction and alcohol extraction Terminalia, water extraction and alcohol extract Lagotis, water extraction and alcohol extract Kudo for lactobacilli acid production are inhibited. However, water extraction and ethanol extracts Terminalia suppress acid production of lactic acid bacteria is stronger than Lagotis and Lamiophlomis extract.Conelusion:Three Tibetan medicine in terms of alcohol extract of antibacterial activity against Streptococcus mutans or lactobacilli stronger than the effect of its aqueous extract. Myrobalan extract on Streptococcus mutans growth and acid production are not inhibited, but lactobacilli growth and acid inhibition is stronger than Lagotis and Kudo. Lamiophlomis extract on Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus growth and acid production has antibacterial effects. Lagotis two extracts of antibacterial activity and inhibition of acid production of Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus ability between Terminalia and Kudo.
