Objective:The aim of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of early use ofhyperbaric oxygen on the treatment of acute herpes zosterMethods: According to the different method,a total of57cases were randomlydivided into hyperbaric oxygen group and control groups.the patients in the HBO2group were treated with HBO2.An air-pressurized chamber (Model: YC3280/0.3-141V; Origin: Yantai) was used for HBO2treatment. the chamber was pressurizedover a period of20minutes to0.1MPa. Subjects then breathed either100%oxygen bymask according to the following schedule: mask oxygen60minutes; The chamberwas subsequently decompressed to ambient pressure over a period of20minutes. Thetotal duration of each treatment was90minutes. Each subject received one HB02treatments daily, seven times as one course of treatment, after a course of treatment tojudge curative effect.while the HBO2group included vidarabine0.5g, intravenousdrip, once a day, cobamamide1.5mg, intramuscular injection, once a day pregabalin70mg, orally, twice a day. Control group were treated with medication therapyalone(the medicine type and therapy were same as hyperbaric oxygen group)Results: The hyperbaric oxygen group and the controlled group was notstatistically significant on pain intensity before treatment.after treatment both groupwere different on the time to onset of the degree of pain relief.hyperbaric oxygengroup had an advantage over the time to onset of pain than controlled group.after aweek’s treatment, both group were different on pain relief.hyperbaric oxygen groupwere bigger than controll group.both group had no significant difference on the timeof control blister.both group had significant difference on the time of incrustation, hyperbaric oxygen group were shorter than controll group. hyperbaric oxygen grouphad fewer adverse reactions on the treatment of acute herpes zosterConclusions:1、hyperbaric oxygen had an advantage over the time to onset of pain and the degree of pain relief on the treatment of acute herpes zoster.2、hyperbaricoxygen had short scab time on the treatment of acute herpes zoster3、hyperbaricoxygen had fewer adverse reactions, and higher security.
