Objective: To investigate transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1), andBone morphogenetic protein-7(BMP-7) level and clinical significance of type2diabetic nephropathy patients in different stages. Methods: The level of BMP-7and TGF-β1of patients were detected withELISA assay, and these patients are87type2diabetes patients(DM)and Dgroup that includes24synchronous healthy controls from outpatient department.According to ratio of urinary albumin and creatinine (ACR), T2DM group wasdivided into normal ACR (A group), microalbunminuria group (B group),clinicalalbunminuria group (C group).Meanwhile HbA1c, BUN, Cr, TC, BMI,TG, LDL-C, FPG are tested in these groups. Results: The level of TGF-β1in serum of A group,B group and C groupwas increasing compared to D group(P <0.05), the level of BMP-7of A groupand C group was significantly reducing compared to D group(P <0.01).Theconcentration diversity between TGF-β1and BMP-7has no statisticsignificances (P>0.05). Compared to A group and B group,The level of Thesetwo infactors in C group has statistic significances(P <0.05). Overall, there is apositive correlation between the ACR of diabete groups and TGF-β1(r=0.433,p<0.001), while there is a negative correlation between the ACR of diabete groups and BMP-7(r=-0.493,p<0.001).Conclusinon: The expression of BMP-7may has the correlation wth thedevelopment of DN,and its detection and early targeted remedy may becomenew orientation of diagnosing and therapying early DN. Exploring the inhibitorof TGF-β1or the activator of BMP-7may become pharmacological target spotto DN therapies.
